Ingredients Layered Fruit Smoothie

  1. 1 mango (peeled, pitted, and coarsely chopped).
  2. 1 1/4 cups low-fat plain yogurt.
  3. Honey, 4 tablespoons.
  4. 1 tablespoon of lime juice, fresh.
  5. freshly grated lime zest, 1/4 teaspoon.
  6. one banana (peeled, and chopped).
  7. ten little strawberries (washed, and hulled).
  8. 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, fresh.
  9. freshly grated lemon zest, 1/4 teaspoon.


Methods How To Make Layered Fruit Smoothie

  • Mango, 3/4 cup plain low-fat yogurt, 2 teaspoons honey, 1 fresh lime, 2 ice cubes, and freshly grated lime zest should all be blended together until smooth. Mango-lime smoothie should be divided between 2 glasses with straight sides.
  • Bananas, strawberries, 1/2 cup plain low-fat yogurt, 2 teaspoons honey, fresh lemon juice, 2 ice cubes, and freshly grated lemon zest should all be blended in a clean blender until smooth. The mango smoothie should be layered on top of a banana-strawberry smoothie, with the mixture being spooned gently around the inside border of each glass to form a straight horizontal line.
